Please Note: You don't need a log-in to book an appointment. The first time you use my new system it will automatically email you a password to log in with in the future, scroll down to find the log-in box. The log in allows you to reschedule or cancel appointments but please see my booking policy below. However, if you can't remember your log in then you can still make a booking.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT IF YOU HAVE A COLD/COVID SYMPTOMS - contact me to rearrange your appointment, thank you.
Please note that if you are having an eyelash or eyebrow tint for the first time you'll need a patch test, please book one using the online system & then book your treatment. When booking please bear in mind you need 48 hours between your patch test and appointment.
I have developed an allergy to nail products & due to this can only do 2 mani/pedi treatments a day.
Please bare in mind, if there are already 2 booked in on the day you book I will need to ask you to move it so it's best book in advance
Please be aware that I do not have a waiting/reception area. With this in mind please ensure you don't knock on the cabin door prior to your appointment time. This may disturb the client who is booked in before you & I will not be able to leave them to answer the door. If you do arrive early then please text me - if I am in a position to see you early then you are more than welcome. Thank you x
**You are required to give me at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
**If you cancel within the 48 hour period you will be required to give a 50% non-refundable booking fee on all future appointments
**I reserve the right to ask any client at any time to pay a 50% non-refundable booking fee after they have booked online or via the phone even if they have not cancelled previously
**I may do this if you are booking several treatments and blocking a longer time out of my diary or the 1:1 gel polish workshops.
**Non-refundable booking fees ARE of course refundable if you cancel your appointment before the 48 hour period
**Non-refundable booking fees ARE transferable if you wish to reschedule your appointment before the 48 hour period
**If you dont wish to pay a non-refundable booking fee, if requested to, then please do not book an appointment
Please respect my policy - it is simply in place to reduce the amount of last minute cancellations/no shows and to protect my time as these impact me and my business in several ways. My salon is also in my home so I only confirm the address after non-refundable bookings fees have been paid (if I request one).

My salon is close to the A12 at Boreham in Chelmsford so is really easy to access for anyone who lives in Springfield and Chelmer Village or for anyone who is looking for a waxing salon in Danbury, a waxing salon in Maldon, a waxing salon in Witham or a waxing salon in Hatfield Peverel.
This policy is effective from 1 January 2018 and can be updated at any necessary time by me, Amy (owner of Shore Beauty). It complies with the General Data Protection Regulation and the previous Data Protection Act 1998.
Data requested from you:
When you book a treatment at Shore Beauty you will only be asked relevant personal information via my online booking system (which is GDPR compliant) or by myself over the phone, or text message.
When booking, by any way, the only personal data required are your full name, phone number and email address. This is so you can be contacted if necessary to amend your appointment and to send the automatic confirmations and reminders via the online booking system.
Your personal data is never shared with anybody else.
All booking data is kept securely online via Ovatu (my online booking provider)
Wix (my website provider) hold the email addresses of those who subscribe to my email marketing
Consultation forms are kept on site in a locked cabinet.
No other person has access to any information.
I use Paypal and Sumup for taking card payments. These do not store card details and if you wish to have a receipt you provide your email address or mobile number at the time but this information is not stored.
When you come for your first treatment you will be asked to complete a consultation form. This will require your name, contact telephone number, email address & town (not full address). It will also have a option to consent to marketing emails via your provided email address. If you consent to subscribe to marketing emails you can unsubscribe at any time, each email will always have an unsubscribe button. Your email address will not be passed on to any third company or shared with anybody else, none of your data will.
You will be required to disclose any illness, medication, allergy or contra-indication for the purpose of keeping you safe during your treatment. This information will never be shared or accessed by anybody else other than Amy at Shore Beauty. Personal data is secured as per the law and disposed of as per the law.
I require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons - internal record keeping, reminding you of your appointment, giving you salon information before your first appointment and if you consent to email marketing I will send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which I think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided - only if you have given written consent.
Controlling your personal information
You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information by:
if you have previously agreed to me using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or unsubscribing using the link in every marketing email you receive.
I will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties. If you believe that any information I hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email me as soon as possible at the above address or let me know at your next appointment. I will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
Under the GDPR you have a right to ask for a "subject access request" - a copy of your personal data held by me. I am happy to provide you with such information. You can request that I delete the data held on you, though I may have to retain data for a certain length of time for legal purposes
I have to keep data for 3 years. This is set by my insurance provider.
